Eurocopter A-Star: The Heart of Our Operation

For skiers and boarders, the only way to explore the mountains and valleys that carve out the Alaska Range is by the Eurocopter AS 350-B3, better known as the A-Star. Known for its power, speed, and agility, this helicopter is the foundation of our safety-first operations. Tordrillo Mountain Lodge partners with Soloy Helicopters to provide on-site transportation services. Our company is known for its dedicated mechanics and A-Star pilots who have been providing safe, reliable lifts in Alaska for years.

Other Aircraft

For fixed-wing support, we use de Havilland Beavers, stationed in Anchorage and at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge. They are the workhorses behind safe, efficient transportation to the property and throughout the different ski zones, we frequent. A Piper Super Cub, known for its ability to take off and land in very short distances, is also available for remote scouting and pioneering of airstrips near powder stashes and fuel depots.
