Sample Summer Itinerary
Summers at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge are filled with action packed days of enjoying all that the Alaskan wilderness has to offer. After a day of excursions, enjoy fine dining, spa treatments, and amenities on the lodge property. Please note that the number of excursions are determined by packages.
Day 1
8:30 am – TML driver picks you up from hotel or downtown Anchorage location.
9:00 am – Float Plane departs from Lake Hood in Anchorage.
9:40 am – Arrive at the lodge.
10:00 am-12:00 pm – Introduction to the lodge, amenities, and activities followed by safety speech and an introduction to the helicopter.
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Sit down for a gourmet lunch and introduction to our chef.
1:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Settle in and relax with a day of lake sports, fishing around the lodge, a walk through the woods, or a spa day. An excursion into the mountains or an afternoon of fishing is also a possibility.
7:00 pm – Sit down for a 3-course meal prepared by our talented chefs.
8:00 pm – Bedtime – Enjoy a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine on the deck overlooking the lake or take them to the hot tub. You are also welcome to take out a kayak or SUP board and enjoy the ambiance of the remote Alaskan lake.
Day 2/3/4*
*3 day trip departs on 4th day
7:00 am – 9:00 am – Order breakfast and enjoy the coffee bar while discussing excursion options for the day.
9:00 am – 10:00 am – Prep and depart for a day of rafting/fishing, the via ferrata/lunch on a glacier, or exploring the mountains with a day of hiking and sightseeing. Or decide to spend the day at the lodge to enjoy the lake sports, spa, or fishing around the lake.
10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Spend the day in the field with a lunch provided by the cooking staff.
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Return to the lodge for a massage or time on the lake to test out the e-foils, wake boat, or kayaks/SUP boards. After getting out of the lake, enjoy the hot tub or sauna.
7:00 pm – Sit down for a 3-course meal with a beer, cocktail, or glass of wine and discuss options for the following day.
8:00 pm – Bedtime – Enjoy a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine on the deck overlooking the lake or take them to the hot tub. You are also welcome to take out a kayak or SUP board and enjoy the ambiance of a remote Alaskan lake.
Day 5
7:00 am – Enjoy a quick breakfast and checkout with lodge manager for final bill. Gratuity & bar charges.
8:15 am – Depart TML for Anchorage.
9:00am – Arrive back to Anchorage. TML drivers available to drop you off anywhere in downtown Anchorage.
