Travis Rice’s Natural Selection Tour at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge
The 2021 heli skiing season at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is shaping up to be a season unlike any other. One reason: The world’s top male and female snowboarders will be carving down the Tordrillos in March as part of the final stop of the 2021 Natural Selection Tour. Spearheaded by renowned snowboarder Travis Rice, the tour will deliver a world-class competition that combines freestyle tricks with freeriding artistry set on big mountain terrain.
Kicking off in February 2021, snowboarders will compete on some of the world’s most exciting terrain in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Baldface Lodge, British Columbia, and Tordrillo Mountain Lodge. Top finishers will go head-to-head right here in Alaska, where the best mens and womens all-mountain freestyle riders will be crowned in late March. Snowboarding in Alaska has never looked so good.
“For snowboarders and skiers, Alaska represents the ultimate venue for freeriding,” Tordrillo Mountain Lodge owner Mike Overcast said. “It is only appropriate that the Natural Selection Tour crowns its world champion in Alaska.”
