Yoga Instructor: JAMIE KLAES

Wellness. community. adventure. FREEDOM.

Born and raised in Alaska, I continue to love everything the 49th state has to offer. Until now, most of my life has been spent in the far north. My family owned and operated a rural lodge and air taxi for 33 years. This was our home, even after the house was built behind it. There I was, baby Jamie, in diapers on the banks of the Koyukuk River. Latitude 66, above the arctic circle. Familiar are the nights when the sun will not set, the mornings when she refuses to rise. The raw wilderness is inexplicable. The vast, heart pounding beauty of Alaska is home.
