Some folks might think that Alaska as a ski destination is just too far away. Those who have experienced Alaska and make the annual pilgrimage will tell you different. From anywhere in the US, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is easier and faster to get to than any of the great Canadian ski locations. Having Anchorage as our hub makes flight plans easy. From Ted Stevens International Airport, we are just a quick 45-minute flight to Judd Lake and the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge.
North American guests will be happy know that all major carriers serve routes to Anchorage. Many of these routes are direct flights from major US cities. Look to Alaska Airlines for West coast, Hawaiian flights and select East coast airports. Delta, Continental, and United also have numerous direct flights from select cities.
For those traveling from Europe, the best routes are from Zurich and Frankfurt. During the summer months, both Edelweiss and Condor have direct flights into Anchorage. During winter months, BA has a direct into Seattle, with a quick connection into Anchorage.
All guests should plan your reservations to arrive the day prior to your trip start date. Your departure date should be late afternoon or the night of your departure date.
Weather delays in out and out of the lodge may require flight changes to occur. We recommend that all guests purchase tickets that permit changes to the itinerary. We also recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance. Please see our Insurance page for more information.
