Judd Lake is still half-frozen. Or is it half-thawed?
We all just got back up to the AK and in the midst of all of our excitement we forgot to investigate some pretty important details. Prior to our float plane ride to the lodge, we failed to check if the lake was still frozen for our landing. To our dismay – it was not. What did this mean? It means that we spent the entirety of our Sunday afternoon hoofing it around the lake with all of our gear and luggage because the lake was only half frozen and we could only land on half of the lake – the unfrozen half–which was on the “wrong” side of the lake. Ha!
It was a haul for the books. But as of now we are all back up at TML, ready for Cast and Carve. Oh, by the way, we just had three spots open up last-minute for our first session. So if you’re interested, call us!
