The ultimate powder experience begins with the guides. Ours are the most accomplished in the state. Each has at least 15 years of Alaska experience with hundreds of runs cataloged in the Tordrillos. They have a keen awareness of the constantly changing environment and how to mitigate potential hazards. As your hosts for the week, you will quickly come to understand the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge difference when it comes to exceptional guiding. Every week, guides scout new mountain terrain, often taking guests along to claim first descents. Our team blends the art and science of snow safety, our extensive experience with Alaska topography and winter conditions, and applies that knowledge to the terrain we ski. We also match each run with a skier’s ability, confidence, and desire to take on new challenges. Each guide must have current medical, technical, and snow science training, and all certifications and required guidelines of the Guide Associations.
