Just a 40-minute flight from Anchorage, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is a remote, multi-sport luxury lodge in the heart of the Tordrillo Range.

Located on the banks of the Talachulitna River and Judd Lake, it is within eye shot of two 11,000-foot volcanoes and Mount McKinley, North America’s tallest peak at 20,320 feet. Find a quiet corner on the deck and take it all in, cast a line from the lawn and enjoy the lodges and amenities.


Winter Amenities & Activities

Featured: 10k of skate skiing and traditional XC skiing track groomed daily for aerobic exercise, snowshoe treks, fat biking, sauna, and hot tubs.

Summer Amenities & Activities

Featured: Fishing with all gear provided, SUP, canoe and kayak paddling, Jet ski, wake and foil boarding, Heli hiking, ice climbing, and rock climbing. Mountain biking, trails and wildlife observation of common critters.

Yoga and Exercise

Guests can partake in daily yoga routines or spin up their heart rate on on of the bikes in the gym. We have top quality mats for floor exercise, free weights and benches. This facility shares the space with our modern cedar sauna. Cycles b/t the frozen lake water and hot sauna are a great way to end the day.

Lodging / Cabins

Main Lodge

A blend of posh amenities and rustic Alaskan architecture, this 5,600-foot log structure has walls of windows and three large cedar decks that overlook  Judd Lake and the Alaska Range.  This is our flagship lodge newly renovated in 2017. Some of the new features are the spacious common areas on three different levels. A lakeside bar and dining room showcase the beauty of the outside surrounding. Deluxe guest rooms with newly renovated bathrooms provide space for rest.  Expect a cozy atmosphere for fireside chats, reading or relaxing with a glass of wine from our 500-bottle cellar. Other features include a lakeside copper hot tub and sauna, professional massage services, media, music and wireless Internet. If there’s anything else you need, just let us know.

Lodge 2

Nestled on the far side of Judd Lake, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge 2 sets a new standard for lodging in the Alaskan wilderness. Featuring modern architectural design and influence, TML 2’s 4,600 square feet of beautiful hardwoods and stainless steel pair with a luxurious, yet cozy environment. Giant floor-to-ceiling windows greet each guest with breathtaking views of the Tordrillo Range. Eight guests per week get to enjoy the private lodge experience that Tordrillo Mountain Lodge 2 offers including: Four large bedrooms with private baths, a fully stocked bar with an incredible wine list, a private world-class chef, professional massage services, a wood-fired hot tub and access to one B2 Astar Heli.

NEW! New Ski and Canoe Cabins

Available soon*. We are pleased to offer 2 additional cabins for guest accommodations. These 2 private cabins are handcrafted log with private baths. They can accommodate 2 singles or convert to a king size bed. These cabins are located on the lake front conveniently placed a stones throw from the sauna and yoga building. Beautiful wood stoves and large windows look out to the Tordrillo Mountains from the lounge.
